What is WITCHCRAFT? Well... as far as I am concerned, it is the honor and reverence of the universal life force that is found in ALL things and creatures. It is the process of drawing oneself CLOSER to that life-force through ritual and rite, and the alignment of SELF with the ALL. As one travels the path of alignment, he/she finds that he/she is a PART of the forces, and is therefor able to use the forces in certain manners that others would call MAGICK. This ability is available to ALL things that are apart of this force.
I believe that the rules of KARMA are always in force. If you send out bad vibes... you get bad vibes back in kind. If you send out GOOD VIBES... good returns in kind. Sure, there are times that you are sending out good and bad returns, and there are people that send out bad and good returns. How do I explain that mister smarty pants? WELL.. I suppose that there are times that the UNIVERSE needs to see just what we have learned in this life or past lives. POP QUIZ. And that those who do bad and receive good are really just building a great big negative bank account in the Universal Bank of Karma. When the withdrawal comes.. it ain't goina be fun!!!
I believe that since we are all "magical" in nature, that the performance of "magik" is a natural function and should be approached as such. I have talked to some witches that think "magik" is only for special things or shouldn't be done for fear of upsetting the balance or bringing negative consequences. Pish Posh..... I believe magik should be done as needed when desired. The phrase " do what thou will" implies this. I am a BIG proponent of doing what you will, and accepting the consequences be they good or bad. What you send out comes back. I choose to send out good things and reflection protection. This way, any attackers get BACK what they have sent to me. I do, however, on occasion, focus in a more DIRECT way when I feel it is needed. I have no problems with spells to stop my attackers in their tracks if I feel that it has progressed beyond the "reflection protection" stage. I will be a door mat no longer.
